Who is Eligible?

High school seniors who attend Harford County Public Schools and whose parents or grandparents currently work or are retired from full-time employment with the Harford County Public School System

What is Available?

Scholarships up to $3000 presented by the Harford County Retired School Personnel Association.

When are applications due?

The application deadline is March 31.

How can I apply?

Students can print and mail the application from this website. Applications are also available in all high school guidance offices. Students may also submit the electronic version of the application from this website.

What is the purpose of the scholarships?

These scholarships are a means of honoring our profession while saluting and supporting our outstanding high school seniors.

MOLLY RICHARDSON, from Harford Technical High School, is the daughter of Stacey and Benjamin Richardson. Her mother is a fifth grade teacher at Red Pump Elementary School and her father is the Assistant Superintendent of Human Resources for HCPS. Molly ranks 5th in her class with a 4.71 GPA. She plans to attend the University of Maryland College Park to become a pediatric neurology certified nurse practitioner.

KENDALL CHANDLER, from North Harford High School is the daughter of Jennifer and Jason Chandler. Her mother is a teacher in HCPS. She ranks first in her class with a 4.75 GPA. She plans to attend Messiah University to become a teacher.
