HCRSPA RECOGNIZES AND INFORMS MEMBERS
Publishes four newsletters each year.
Schedules two social/business meetings (December and May) to update members and to give members opportunities to visit with colleagues.
Plans several afternoon "Happy Hours" for retirees.
Works with HCPS to provide information for those planning to retire.
Accepts nominations for and organizes the induction into the HCPS Hall of Fame.
Maintains an active, informative Facebook page.
Communicates timely information by e-mail.
HCRSPA ADVOCATES FOR ALL RETIRED HCPS EMPLOYEES
HCRSPA represents every kind of retired HCPS employee. This includes administrators, secretaries, custodians, bus drivers, food service workers, counselors, librarians, nurses, psychologists, and pupil personnel workers.
Membership in HCRSPA and MRSPA is like insurance for your retirement benefits!
HCRSPA SUPPORTS
STUDENTS
Provides clothing to school nurses to be used for children in need.
Supports the work of The Hope Center of Maryland which collects and distributes food to families, seniors, veterans, and children in need in Harford County. HCRSPA:

provides financial support to The Hope Center.

encourages HCRSPA members to volunteer to make weekend meal bags for children who would otherwise be hungry when school is not in session.
Provides scholarships (up to $3000) to graduating seniors with a parent or grandparent who is an HCPS employee or former employee.
